Stephen Robertson is Director of the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media, and Professor in the Department of History and Art History, at George Mason University. Since 1994, the Center <rrchnm.org> has pursed the mission of using digital media and computer technology to democratize history, using grant funding from government and private agencies to create freely available software and websites that in 2016 attracted over 37.8 million visits and nearly 20 million unique visitors.
