Sarah Tegen, PhD, is Vice President for Global Journals Development at the American Chemical Society. A veteran of the publishing industry, Tegen serves as President of the Council of Science Editors, as co-Chair of the Journals Committee for the Professional and Scholarly Publishing division of the Association of American Publishers, and as a member of the Scholarly Collaboration Network working group for STM. She has launched several award winning journals in chemistry and now oversees the strategic management of a suite of 50 journals. Tegen earned a PhD from University of California Berkeley and an SB from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
