Jyldyz Bekbalaeva

Jyldyz Bekbalaeva is Director of the Library at American University of Central Asia, where she manages library services and resources. Jyldyz is currently a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Georgetown University, working on such topics as information literacy, instructional technology, knowledge management and open education. She is a member of the Executive Board of the Library and Information Consortium of Kyrgyzstan. She holds an MSLIS from the University of Illinois and a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Kyrgyz National University.
